Our story

Technique with tenderness.

PetalBeta Studio began as a small flower table in San Francisco, where neighbors gathered to learn why a stem bends, how a palette settles, and when an arrangement needs less rather than more. Over the years we grew into a quiet studio on Valencia Street, welcoming learners from every background who wanted to practice thoughtful, sustainable floristry.

Mission

Make excellent floristry education approachable, measured, and respectful of every learner’s creative voice while embedding the petal rhythm approach to pacing.

Method

Short demonstrations, clear practice prompts, and useful feedback create a durable foundation. Each course follows a petal rhythm: calm, steady, or expressive.

Care

We teach mindful sourcing, responsible conditioning, and designs that honor seasonal availability. Every technique respects both the material and the maker.
